Most often the Maldives, French Polynesia, Italy, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, St. Lucia, the broader Caribbean, Mexico, and across the United States — all places Nicole has been herself. If you have somewhere else in mind, we'll take you there too.

How do I start?
There's no flat fee — every journey is priced around what is being built. What we can tell you: we lead every proposal with the premium option first, so you're seeing what's possible before anything is scaled back. Planning fees vary depending on the scope of the trip.
Is travel protection included?
We include travel protection as a standard part of every proposal. It's not an afterthought — it's part of how we build the trip from the start.
Do you work with groups?
Yes — destination birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette trips, multigenerational family travel. We handle every moving piece: private villa buyouts, restaurant takeovers, coordinated arrivals, so the person celebrating never has to manage a single detail.

Yes. Tidal & Rare is hosted by Trips & Ships Luxury Travel and is a member of Travel Leaders Network. We are CLIA certified and covered under Trips & Ships' Seller of Travel registration and carry E&O insurance.
Nicole Dunlap is the founder of Tidal & Rare and an ER nurse with over a decade of clinical experience. She built the agency around her own firsthand travel — and around the precision that comes from a career where details genuinely matter.
Yes. A planning fee applies to every proposal, reflecting the time, research, and access that go into building it. This is discussed upfront, before any work begins.

Anywhere. The destinations featured on our site are the ones closest to Nicole's firsthand experience, but we design journeys to any destination a client wants.
Has Nicole actually been to these places, or is this brochure knowledge?
This varies by destination and season, but earlier is almost always better — particularly for honeymoons, destination weddings, and peak-season travel, where the best properties and room categories book up well in advance.
